I'm a breakfast guy and I've been going to OPC since it opened (they know me by name, now). Having lived in Temecula for 20 years now, I've been to every other restaurant in town that serves breakfast (including El Torito, which has a pretty good Sunday brunch). But OPH is, in my opinion, the best in Temecula. And sorry, Richies is a pale, distant second. I stopped going to Richies because if the poor service.

Food is always good. The service is very good. The menu has a lot of variety for a place that only does breakfast.

This is a really gross, dirty place with lousy service and horrible omlettes and overpriced pancakes. What a dump!

Hey Genius - have you ever heard of Salmonella? That is why it is essential to cook eggs all the way through. I don't care if they bake them, I want them fully cooked, not half baked, like your response. And just out of curiosity, what country serves frothy, uncooked omlettes - please find it and go there.

They bake the Omlettes. If you asked they would have made it the regular way for you. I am sorry you prefer the crappy American food like everyone else. There waitresses have always been great.

While the pancakes are simply amazing, the omlettes are the absolute worst I have ever had in my entire life. They must whip the eggs in a blender or something as the omlettes are fluffy with the exterior cooked/burned and the FROTH LIKE interiors (make me gag/puke) are an uncooked foam-like material. Which also means that what you have in your omlettes are also uncooked. Service is always pretty lame - I guess you have to be one of the slowest, rudest servers in order to get and keep a job here. The whole place could get a really good cleaning. The prices are about 10 to 15% too high for what you get. And it is true that the bacon is one of the best in town, but not THE BEST, as the best is at Richies and anyone with a brain in their head knows that.

I went with a few co-workers about a year ago. The food was pretty good I got crepes I think or panacakes. But my boss's girlfriend had a hair in her food so they took it back. But my boss really didn't like the waiters attitude. So anyway I liked the place I would go back. It was pretty crowded but thats what happens when you serve good food.

$$$$$ Small Orange Juice $3.20, Tea $2.10. Potato pancakes half order (3) $7.00. Add a full order of potato pancakes and it was $20 with tip! I took my son there for Birthday Breakfast we were both terribly dissapointed and will never go there again.

Okay, This is the third time I have tried this place, and each time I keep on hoping that it will be better than the last time, but its not. The worst part for me is the service. Those girls really need to get a clue. I got one cup of coffee the whole time I was there. Other people got thier coffee, but not me. On top of that, I paid $2.00 for the coffee. I could have went .5 miles further and got a Venti Starbucks for that price, and its good coffee.
Then, there was no silverware on the table. The waitress drops off the food and walks away. No "Could I get you anything else?" "How is everything?" NOTHING! Then she didn't come back for 10 minutes.
Both times my eggs have had a funny taste. I think I figured out why: These must be the cheapest eggs you can possibly buy. I remember getting eggs like that from FOOD4LESS once, and I never got them again. They seriously have a plasticy taste.
So I agree, the bacons good. The pancakes are good.
So if you want good pancakes and bad service, then this restaurant is for you.
My recommendation is that you go to Penfolds. I thought that it was sort of overpriced, but now I am pretty sure that it is the best food in town for the money.
Any one who has a better breakfast suggestion (besides Mimi's) please post it here.

Service could be better... these people are horrible at refilling drinks, which didn't matter anyway because the coffee is always sub-par. But the food is amazing. The bacon pancakes are delicious, so is the baked apple pancake, and any omlette ordered "egg-whites only" will be the fluffiest, most delicious omlette you have ever eaten.

I've been to OPH restaurants all over the country. They're always crowded because the food is consistantly wonderful! It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for... huge portions and great quality food. The wait is long on the weekends, but that's one of the signs of a good restaurant. The service is good and the staff is very friendly. The omlettes are big enough to share, and in response to another reviewer, they reheat very well.

We love the Original Pancake House... used to go all the time to their Scottsdale Arizona location. But since moving here, there aren't too many options for a late breakfast after 11am and if you want good food it is either here or MiMis Cafe. Anyway, we have never been here (try once a week) when there isn't a line out the door. At least a 20 minute wait all the way up to an hour. sometimes we wait, sometimes not, but the food never disappoints. The ONE complaint that it seems many others have is the seating and the way the restaurant is layed out. It just isn't conducive for a good flow restaurant. I understand why the seating is on top of eachother. It is because of the poor design of the restaurant itself. It is too bad because I know there is a LOT of business that they are not capitalizing on and perhaps a move to one of the larger spaces in the same shopping center would be a huge improvement. But, never-the-less, we will be back again to wait in line, eat the great food and listen to other's intimate conversations (as we are so close to eachother, you can't help overhear... but it does make great gossip afterwards...)

Seems like most of the people who have eaten here must be tight in the wallet. Must be from having casinos to close. i have always got excellent service and food. as far as being packed and cramped, it can be a pain but we always seem to make conversion with all the people around us. Kind of family like. Then again most of the people we see are regulars. All i can say is if i had a restaurant that was only open for breakfast and consistently had a 20 to 30 minute wait outside, i would think that i'm doing pretty good. Keep up the good work.

The best bacon?? What kinda review is that? DO you know where they buy their bacon from? Watch the back doo when the truck pulls up. This place is somewhat of an inigma. The place is poorly designed. Rule number 2 after location, location, location is restaurant design, layout and functionality. You do not open this type of restaurant in a little corner of a strip mall where the floor layout is dictated by the building. Circular and angled building are NOT made for restaurants. The place is way overpriced for breakfast. They think a large portion will make you leave happy, but who reheats half an omelet? You have to pay 3 dollars extra for hash browns and the orange juice is 5 dollars a glass, drink the water its cheaper.

This is the BEST breakfast there is to offer not only in Temecula but anywhere I've been. The food is exceptional and as far as pricing, you pay for what you get here. Places like IHOP charge THE SAME amount, for a definte decrease in quality! The service is outstanding, very homey and fun family enviornment!

This place is a joke. Pricey plus nothing on the menu is above average. They give you large portions but who cares if the food is swill. This restaurant also has the worst seating in Temecula. You feel like the people next to you are sitting on your lap. Avoid this place; its for dummys.
